Noritake-Itron develops intelligent TFT-displays with a built-in ARM CPU-board. It’s also available as a COM module (pumaNOVA) with a common 24bit RGB (TTL) display interface, backlight voltage, memory and much more. They offer a simplified O/S called itronOS which is extremly user friendly and quick to work with in comparison w for example Linux which is also available.
